What we collect

When you create a Schmoozer account, we collect and store:

  • Your account email address, used for sign-in and account communication.
  • Your subscription status, so we know whether you have full access.
  • Gameplay progress (for example, whether you have completed a free trial round), so the app can pick up where you left off.

That is the full list. We aim to collect as little as possible.

If you enter your email during the free trial, we use it to send occasional updates and promotions about Schmoozer. Every email includes an unsubscribe link. We do not share or sell your email address.

What we do not collect

Schmoozer does not collect or store children's names. Player names entered during a game stay on the device being used and are never sent to our servers.

Conversation content — anything players say out loud or type while playing — is not collected, recorded, or stored by us.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. When you subscribe, your card details go directly to Stripe and never touch our servers. We only receive confirmation that a payment succeeded, along with your subscription status.

Analytics and advertising

We use the Meta Pixel and Meta's Conversions API to measure how our advertising performs. These tools send Meta information about visits and actions on our site — such as page views, starting a trial, and purchases — along with technical details like browser type and IP address.

No data about a child is ever sent to Meta or any other advertiser. We do not send player names, ages, or anything about gameplay content.

Cookies

We use first-party cookies to keep you signed in and to measure advertising effectiveness (for example, cookies set by the Meta Pixel). You can block cookies in your browser settings; sign-in and some features may stop working if you do.

Children's privacy

Schmoozer is designed to be played by children under a parent's or practitioner's account. Accounts are created and managed by adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and the game is built so that none is needed: play happens on the adult's device, under the adult's account.

If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us at info@brainwaze.co and we will delete it.

Requesting your data or deletion

You can request a copy of your account data, or ask us to delete your account and its associated data, at any time by emailing info@brainwaze.co. We will respond as quickly as we can.
